I was waiting at the butchers the other day when a dog came in and dropped a note on the counter. The butcher read the note and gave the dog a pound of mince and some link sausages along with his change. I was intrigued by this and the butcher told me that the dog is in every day with messages from his owner so I decided to follow the dog home to see where I could get such a talented animal.
I saw the dog jump on a bus and, amazed at the dogs ability, I asked the driver for a ticket to where the dog was going. After a few stops the dog rang the bell and got off the bus. Astounded, I followed the dog back to his house where he knocked on the door. The dog's owner answered the door, took the sausages and mince off the dog and kicked it in the backside.
Outraged, I demanded, "What did you do that for? That dog is so intelligent you could make a fortune from it."
"Intelligent, my foot!" replied the owner. "That's the second time this week he's forgotten his key!
