EBay selling formats.

The most popular format is going to be auctions. This is where a seller call offer an item for sale and bidders compete for the right to buy it. The seller has numerous selling options. The seller can elect the starting price of the sale. This can be as low as 99 cents and go up to any amount. The seller can set a reserve and limit the minimum selling  price.

A seller can choose to use a fixed price format. For this there are a few options. The seller can use a regular fixed price listing or the may use a store format listing.  Some items appear in the general catalog. Other items appear under store listings. Store lists are better described under the  store format section.

In addition to the various regular listing fees would you will find on eBay they are often special reduced listing fees.  It is been my experience that Wednesday's are a good day to look for these.  In many instances they will offer 10,15 or $.20 listing fees these represent a great value for sellers as on expensive items listing fees can be in excess of five dollars.  This also represents a great opportunity for buyers because of these discounted days many sellers will add a significant amount of new items which might otherwise not be available for purchase.
